Personal Safety Lights
Personal safety lights help ensure the safety of individuals by increasing visibility and offering a signaling device in the case of an emergency. Personal lights are generally lightweight and easy to transport. They offer long time use and low power usage.
Why Personal Safety Lights are Needed
Who needs personal safety lights? Because these lights aid in the visibility of pedestrians, anyone who walks or run a nighttime or early in the morning should use personal visibility lights. They offer protection by illuminating the given path and allowing motorists to see them from a distance.
Children walking to or from school, or walking or riding near a road should also use personal safety lights. The highest incidence of pedestrian deaths and injuries occur in the age group of children 12 years old or younger. Adding a safety light to their back packs or to their bicycles can greatly decrease the chance of a dangerous accident.
It is not a bad idea for everyone to carry a personal light of some kind. There are many small lights that can be used, such as lights on a key chain or magnetic lights. If people make it a habit to have some kind of light on their person, it can decrease the chance of an accident and increase the chance that they will have light when they need it.
